When it comes to movies I have always been fond of 2D animation. When Disney shut down its 2D animation studio back in 2013 in favor of computer animation, it made me appreciate 2D animated films even more than I did before. At around this time I accidentally stumbled upon a Danish film that applies this classic approach to animation, titled A Fish Tale (also humorously titled Help! I’m a Fish! in Europe). While not a groundbreaking film, at the time I have yet to find an animated movie in awhile with a premise so inventive, at least not in in recent memory.
